Cron Jobs
A Cron Job runs your code on a schedule — a nightly report, a cleanup task, a scheduled sync — and exits when it's done. Unlike a Web Service, nothing runs between scheduled executions, so you're never paying for idle time.
Create a cron job
New Service → Cron Job, then fill in:

A cron job requires a validated payment method on the account before it can be created, since — unlike a web service's free plan — a cron job can genuinely cost money the moment it first runs.
How a run behaves
- No overlapping runs. If a scheduled tick fires while the previous run is still going, Infrly skips it rather than starting a second overlapping execution.
- No silent retries. If a run fails, it's reported as failed immediately — Infrly doesn't retry it quietly in the background and hide that anything went wrong.
- A hard time limit. Each run is capped at 6 hours; a job still going at that point is terminated and marked failed. If your job legitimately needs longer than that, split it into smaller scheduled pieces.
Every execution's outcome and duration is recorded and visible in the service's execution history.
How billing works
Cron plans are priced differently from every other service kind: the flat monthly plan price is always $0. You're billed per-execution instead, based on your plan's CPU/memory and exactly how long each run took — a job that runs for 45 seconds costs a small fraction of a cent; a job that never runs costs exactly $0.
